PRIVACY POLICY

Pixel Reel ("the app") is published by Crumble ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. Short version: no account is required, your save lives on your device, and the only data that leaves your phone is what multiplayer and advertising strictly need.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress — catches, coins, gems, gear, fishdex, achievements, settings — is stored locally on your device and in your device backups. We cannot see it and do not receive it.

Multiplayer data

When you use hiscores, tournaments or the Lagoon, the app sends to our game server (hosted by Supabase): a randomly generated player ID, your chosen nickname, your scores (XP, catches and similar leaderboard metrics), your position in the lagoon and any chat messages you send. Chat messages are visible to other players in the same lagoon. Nicknames and scores are visible on public leaderboards. No email address, phone number, contact list or precise location is ever collected.

Advertising

The app shows ads via Google AdMob. If you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads. If you decline, you still get ads — just non-personalized ones. AdMob's handling of data is described in Google's Privacy Policy. Where required, a consent form (Google UMP) is shown before ads are served.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push tokens are sent to our servers.

Children

Pixel Reel is not directed at children under 13. The Lagoon chat has a profanity filter enabled by default, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention & deletion

Deleting the app removes your local save. To have your nickname, scores and chat messages removed from the multiplayer servers, contact us via the support page with your in-game nickname and we will delete them.
